Mark and Michelle Nelson started North Mountain Stables after retiring from 34 years of military service. We moved to Shenandoah County to enjoy retirement in the beauty of the Shenandoah mountains. We began a thriving market garden and built a new stable and Olympic size dressage arena for riding and training horses.
